About MUN
Model United Nations (MUN) is an educational simulation of the United Nations where students act as diplomats to research, debate, and solve global issues. Participants build skills in public speaking by giving speeches to a new audience and learning how to collaborate with other delegates while working towards a common goal.
In addition, they learn how to improve their presentation skills and think on their feet in stressful situations. At a high school level, students have the opportunity to attend various conferences in which they can apply the skills they have learned. This includes prestigious conferences such as at Stanford and Berkeley University.
